Biography: Paul was the head boys’ basketball coach at (Buffalo) Tri-City High School for 5 years.  He also spent time as an assistant coach at the school.  For 17+ years he served Riverton High School as its announcer, scorekeeper, and timer.  Paul’s coaching career included a stint as an assistant coach at (Raymond) Lincolnwood High School in 1972 when the school earned a 3rd place finish in the IHSA inaugural Class A State Tournament.  He was an organizer of the Subway Shootout that began in 1996.
