Biography: Chris was a fixture for over 20 years as the KHQA-TV sports anchor in Quincy.  He was among four people chosen to receive the Illinois High School Association’s Distinguished Media Award during the 2018-19 school year.  The award recognizes media members who have covered Illinois high school sports and activities for a significant period.  Chirs was nominated for the award by Warsaw High School.  He became the sports director at KHQA in 1995 after doing radio work in Jefferson City, MO.
