Biography: Bob Fallstrom worked as the sports editor for the Decatur Herald and Review.  Bob did an outstanding job of covering sports not only in Central Illinois, but also of the outstanding teams in Class A.  Bob exhibited his tremendous knowledge of all schools and coaches regardless of school size.  His columns were always outstanding, and he was certainly a credit to the media profession.  During the basketball season it was common to find Bob at one end of the state and then see him travel to the other end for a game the next evening.  Bob gave definition to the meaning of a truly remarkable writer.  His 1974 induction into the IBCA HOF was richly deserved.  Bob Fallstrom passed away on July 9, 2015.
