Biography: At the time of his Hall  of Fame induction, Nick had 30+ years of experience as a sportswriter, most notably for The Peoria Journal Star.  He was considered by many to be among the most informed and best sportswriters in the state in regard to covering Illinois high school basketball.  Nick had always been very generous when it came to covering the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association and its activities.  He has been a strong support of the IBCA and its many endeavors, especially the museum project.
