Biography: Coleman Carrodine was an All-State player for Mt. Vernon HS who went on to Western Illinois University where he led the Leathernecks to the NAIA Tournament. He received many honors including NAIA All Tournament Team in 1962, MVP of the IIAC for 2 years, NAIA District 20 team for 3 years, and captain of the WIU team. He left WIU with a record of 2,128 points scored. At the time of his induction in 1973, Coleman was on the coaching staff at Champaign Central HS. Coleman passed away on July 11, 2017.
