Biography: Jodie Harrison made most all-state teams as a senior at Streator High School where he averaged 18 ppg. Jodie began his college career at Alabama before transferring to The University of Illinois. Under Coach Harv Schmidt (HOF Player inducted in 1973), Jodie started 48 consecutive games from 1967 to 1969 and averaged 13 ppg. He also set the field goal percentage mark for that era with the Illini. After college, Jodie moved into the education field as a teacher and coach in the Hinsdale area. After Hinsdale, Jodie was the athletic director at St. Charles East High School when he was tragically killed on May 28, 1991 at the age of 44 by a drunk driver.
