Biography: Katie was a first-team all-stater and an honorable mention Parade All-American as a senior at Stevenson High School, where she helped her team to state championships in 1995 and 1996. She scored 1,505 points and had 138 3-pointers
in her Stevenson career.  Katie was featured in Sports Illustrated’s “Faces in the Crowd” for her basketball accomplishments. She went on to play at the University of Illinois with her high school teammate, Tauja Catchings.
