Biography: Larry set 19 school records playing for DeLand High School from 1965-69.  He finished his career with 1,762 points scored and 274 assists given.  Larry averaged 29.3 ppg to lead the Champaign and Decatur areas. (Note:  There were no 3 point baskets in that era).  He gained all-state player honors before attending the University of Illinois on a football scholarship.  He was an Illini defensive back for 3 seasons.
