Biography: Rusty was a four-year starter at Havana High School from 1990-94, scoring 2,200 career points. He averaged 22 points and 12 rebounds per game as a senior, earning multiple all-state honors and a spot on the IBCA All-Star team.  Rusty played two years at Lincolnland Community College, averaging 22 points and seven rebounds as a sophomore. He played his final two seasons for Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, where he averaged 14 ppg and six rpg his senior year.
