Biography: Carl set school records for assists in a game, season, and career at (Chicago) Gordon Tech High School.  He averaged 12 ppg and 8.2 apg in his career, earning all-Catholic League honors as a junior and as a senior.  Carl was an all-region pick at Jackson Community College (MI) before helping Bradley to a Missouri Valley Conference Championship his senior season when he averaged 9.0 ppg and 5.2 apg.  Carl’s son Sam followed him to Bradley, years later.
