Biography: Petrece Faulkner led her Byron High School teams to an 89-18 record and a trip to the Class A state tournament in her four varsity seasons (1985-89). In a 1988 quarter final loss,  she had 20 points and  5 rebounds. She finished her high school career with 1,287 points, 571 rebounds, 251 assists and 215 steals and shot 51.7 percent from the field and 70.7 percent on free throws.  Petrece played at Fort Hays State (KS), was a two-time all-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference selection and was an all-tourney selection as the 1991 team won the NAIA national championship. She led the team in scoring in 1991-92 (16.6 ppg) and in 1992-93 (17.9 ppg). She holds the school record for points in a game (46) and is tied for second for 3-pointers in a game with 8. Career-wise she ranks first in 3-point percentage (37.2), third in assists (1,469), fourth in points (1,657), field goals made (610) and free-throw percentage (81.9), fifth in 3-pointers made (142) and sixth in scoring average (13.6).
