Biography: Kassie played at Anna-Jonesboro High School from 2000-2004. She was selected as a 4-time All-Conference player, 4-time First Team All-State, Central Player of the Year, Two-Time Southern Illinois Player of the Year, and was Ms. Basketball runner-up. Kassie set many records. She had 138 3’s in a single season – IHSA record, 36  double-figure games in a season, 3,201 career points, 1,153 points in a single season-IHSA record, 397 career 3’s-IHSA record and led the state in scoring averaging 32ppg  both her junior and senior years. Kassie led her team to its first and only appearance in the state tournament and led her team to the best record in school history with a 30-6 record. Kassie was selected as an Adidas top 100 player. She went on to play at the University of Missouri and was selected Big XII Player of the Week, Academic All-Big 12 Second Team, and helped her team to an NIT and a NCAA Tournament Appearance. Kassie has moved on to coach at the middle school level and assistant for the high school varsity level.
