Biography: John Tidwell led his Herrin team to the 1957 state championship, earning all-state and all-American player honors.  After high school, John starred at Michigan where he set many records and gained all Big Ten and All American acclaim.  After his playing days, John became a physician in Charlotte, North Carolina.
