Biography: Karen earned all-state player honors at Argenta-Oreana High School.  As a senior, she led the Bombers to Okaw Valley conference and IHSA Regional titles.  She finished with 1,152 career points scored and was named the outstanding Female Athlete in the Champaign/Decatur area.  Karen went on to star at Danville Area Community College and was inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame.  She ended her career at Western Illinois University and became an athletic trainer for the 2004 and 2008 US Olympic Water Polo teams.
