Biography: Decatur High School’s Runnin’Reds were coached by Hall of Fame Coach John Schneiter.  Decatur beat (Chicago) Carver High School by one point, 49-48 in the IHSA State Championship game.  The team was led by All State Player Ken Barnes who is also an IBCA Hall of Famer.
