Biography: The 2010-11 Hales Franciscan Spartans rolled through the 2011 IHSA Class 2A state tournament winning the seven games in the post season by an average of 23.8 points per game.

The Spartans rolled over (Chicago) Dyett HS 87-44 and (Palos Hts.) Chicago Christian HS 78-49 in Regional play.  They defeated Paxton-Loda-Buckley 60-48 and Seton Academy 67-41 in Sectional play.  They then scored a convincing 67-35 win over Aurora Christian HS in the Super-sectional game to advance to the IHSA state finals.  There they defeated Rockford Christian HS 56-43 in the semi-final round and scored a 61-47 win over previously unbeaten Murphysboro HS in the championship game.
