Biography: Fresh from the state title run of 2009, Coach Anthony Smith and the 2010 Lady Raiders were hungry to continue the success from the previous season and set their sights on another IHSA Class 4A state title.  Led by captains Nicosia Henry, Morgan Tuck, and Ariel Massengale, this 2010 Lady Raiders’ team accomplished the difficult feat of winning back-to-back championships.  The Lady Raiders again defeated the Dolphins of (Chicago) Whitney Young High School 60-50 to take the title and finish the season with a 28-1 record.  This state championship was a total team effort, including players and coaches, who put in the time and the work to make this Class 4A State Championship possible.
