Team Record: 30-2 (IHSA Class A 4th Place)

Biography:   (Buda) Western entered the IHSA Elite “8” with an unprecedented unbeaten Class A, 60-0 two year regular season record. There were nine players who were members of both of these outstanding teams. The only losses occurred on the Assembly Hall floor. 

The 1975-76 team was led by first team All-State “Stick” Happach.  The team was coached by IBCA Hall of Famer Chips Giovanine.
