Biography:

Rick was a three-year starter at Mendota High School. His 1,408 career points ranked seventh on Mendota’s career scoring list. He was a star forward and team captain on a 27-2 team as a senior in 1970-71, the final year of one-class basketball.

Rick was a first-team all-state selection by multiple media outlets, including the Associated Press. He went on to play at Centenary College, where he was a teammate of future NBA Hall of Famer Robert Parrish.
