Biography:

Frank was a 1929 graduate of Rockford High School, leading the Big 7 Conference in scoring as a junior and senior. He scored 503 points in 61 games during a low-scoring era.

Frank did not attend college right away, but was recruited to Georgia when Rockford native Rex Enright became the Bulldogs’ coach in 1932. Frank was recruited to play both football and basketball.  Frank was an all-SEC lineman in football and led Georgia basketball in scoring from 1933-36. He later coached at Georgia, Mississippi and South Carolina.
