Biography: Hanns coached girls varsity basketball at Crescent-Iroquois High School for 23 years. He compiled a 420-217 record and his teams won eight conference championships.  From 1999 to 2003, the Golden Girls won 16 season tournament
championships. Hanns coached Crescent-Iroquois to 10 regional titles, three sectional championships and two super-sectional wins. His 1992 squad took fourth place in the Class A State Tournament and set the IHSA record for smallest enrollment to play in the state finals. The school was deactivated in 2008 with an enrollment of 53 students.
