Biography:

Joe was born into a newspaper family. His parents purchased the Auburn Citizen and Divernon News in 1959, the year before Joe was born. After briefly pursuing a career in rock and roll, he returned to the family business in 1988.

Joe has written three books on the history of Auburn High School football and basketball in addition to his newspaper work.  At the time of his induction, he and his sisters owned South County Publications Ltd., with Joe serving as publisher and editor.
