Biography: Before becoming athletic director at Waukegan East HS, Jack Miller took three Waukegan teams to the Sweet Sixteen while compiling a 223-69 record in 12 years at the north suburban school.  When this record is coupled with his seven seasons at Pontiac HS, Miller’s record shows that his last 19 teams sported winning seasons.  Additionally, Jack served 11 seasons on the Chicago Daily News Area Board.  At the same time, he served on the newspaper’s all state board.  Jack retired from teaching and coaching in 1989.  He passed away on Christmas Day of 2015 at the age of 90.
