Biography: At the end of the 2018-19 season, Joe’s teams had amassed a total record of 790-275 at Winnebago High School.  After 5 seasons as the girls’ head coach, Joe took over the boys’ program in 1987.  His girls’ teams were 108-29 with the 1985 team advancing to the state finals.  Overall, Joe has coached for 37 seasons.  His teams have won 22 IHSA Regional championships, 10 IHSA Sectional titles, and 6 IHSA Super-sectional games.  His 2004 and 2005 squads finished 2nd in the IHSA Class A State Finals; his 2013 team finished 3rd; and his 2009 team finished 4th.
