Biography:

William spent his entire boys’ head coaching career at (Chicago) Farragut High School. He led Farragut to 541 victories in his time on the bench, finishing with a 541-320 record.

William’s 1995 team won the Chicago Public League Tournament championship and advanced to the IHSA Class AA State Tournament quarterfinals. That squad was led by future NBA star Kevin Garnett and standout guard Ronnie Fields. Farragut won six IHSA Regionals and one IHSA Sectional under William.
