Biography:

Kim served as treasurer, mentor and observer for the Joliet Basketball Officials Association and the Girls Catholic Athletic Conference Officials Association. She added the title of IHSA basketball rules interpreter in 2019.

Kim became the fourth official in IHSA girls’ basketball history to work three state championship games when she was on the court for title games in 2018, 2020 and 2022.  She was named IHSA Official of the Year in 2021.
