Biography: Dorothy and Emil Rausch were a part of Rock Island basketball for 39 years. Emil and Dorothy, were season ticket holders for 39 years.. The pair of Rocks’ fans attended every home game for 24 years. Dorothy displays the same type of devotion in her association with Washington Junior High School where she hasn’t missed an 8-hour day since her retirement, 10 years ago. Rock Island will certainly miss Emil and Dorothy.  Emil died in 1989 just before their Hall of Fame induction.  Dorothy died on May 23, 2004 at the age of 96.
