Biography: Ron was a varsity head basketball coach for 29 seasons, amassing a 484-307 record. His coaching stops included Louisville North Clay, Effingham, Lawrenceville and Harrisburg.  Ron was most recently head coach at Effingham from 2002-2017 and had a 268-154 record. Included were eight 20-win seasons, three regional championships and six Apollo Conference titles. His final five teams there won at least 20 games. He had a 185-85 record in 10 years at North Clay, covering two stints.
