Biography:

Cindy had a 388-215 record as women’s head coach at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale from 1977-98. Her career win total made her the winningest women’s coach in the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) at the time of her retirement. Her 199 victories in conference play ranked second in MVC history.

Cindy led SIU to four NCAA berths, including a Sweet Sixteen in 1987. Her Salukis had 16 straight winning seasons and eight 20-win seasons. She was inducted into the MVC Hall of Fame in 2021.
