Biography:

In 30 years of coaching, Willie compiled a 520-128 on the junior high, high school and junior college levels. He established the boys’ and girls’ programs at Jahn Elementary School from 1982-86. His first high school job came as an assistant at Chicago Phillips from 1983-87.

Willie also was an assistant at South Shore and Carver High Schools in Chicago before becoming Carver’s head coach from 1996-99. Most recently, he was head coach at South Suburban College from 2000-2005.
