Biography:

Charlie starred at Washington (IL) High School before moving on to a stellar career at Eastern Illinois University. He was a catalyst for the Panthers’ 1976 and 1978 NCAA Division II Final Four teams.

Charlie scored 1,452 career points to rank eighth in Eastern history. He set the school record for consecutive free throws made with 54, in the 1978 season. He was No. 3 on the Panthers’ career free-throw percentage list at the time of his graduation.
