Biography:

At the time of his induction, Clay boasted a career record to 607-305. He has been the Illini Bluffs head coach since 2013, posting a 217-99 record at the school.

Clay also coached at Plymouth (IN), A-C Central, Hamilton and Central Lee (IN) high schools. His teams won nine IHSA Regional championships, seven IHSA Sectional titles, two IHSA Super-sectional games and made two state tournament appearances. His teams have won 30 conference titles in his 35-year career.
