Biography:

Many people claim to have seen a lot of basketball, but few have seen more games than John.  Not many can match his 53 years of officiating Illinois High School Association basketball.

John’s dedication was recognized by the IHSA, which presented him with a gold watch when he reached 50 years of service. In 2000, he officiated the girls’ state finals. John has been involved with the Special Olympics as a supporter and official.
