Biography: At the time of his induction, Del Steigmeier was 97 years young and had been a lifelong fan of Staunton basketball.  Del kept the Bulldogs scorebook from 1968-1993.  The highlight of his career was following the Bulldogs on their run to the state championship in 1993.  What made that magical season even more rewarding was that Randy Legendre, his son-in-law, coached the team.  That was also Del’s final game doing the Staunton scorebook.
