Biography: Steve began coaching basketball in 1969. His long career includes coaching stints at Xenia Junior High, McKendree University, and Collinsville, Dupo and Clayton (Mo.) high schools.  Steve was an assistant coach at McKendree and a boys assistant at Collinsville, where the Kahoks had a 128-63 record during his tenure. He then became Collinsville’s girls head coach and went 229-111 with 3 IHSA Regional titles. From 2014-2017, Steve had a 55-24 record as head coach of the Clayton girls.
