Biography: Steve served as seventh, eighth, and ninth grade basketball coach at Charleston.  He also was varsity coach at Charleston High School from 1975-79, winning the Charleston Holiday Tournament in 1977 and 1978.  Steve was 1979 IBCA District 9 Class AA Coach of the Year.  From 1979-82, he was the head basketball coach at East Peoria High School and then served as athletic director at Tremnt High School.
