Biography: Jim has been a longtime broadcaster for WQRL Radio in Benton.  He has served as the “Voice of the Rangers” for Benton High School football and basketball for many years.  Jim is well known throughout Sourthern Illinois for his award winning “Saturday Morning Talking Sports” show.  He has won the Silver Dome Award for best sports program three times and the Egyptian Officials Association Award for contributions to high school athletics.
