Biography: Bill set the school career scoring record at Waterloo High School, finishing with 1,545 points (note that there was no 3 pt. line in that era). The 1973 graduate averaged 22 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists per game his senior year.  Bill played two years at Mineral Area Community College and his final two seasons at Northeast Missouri State (now Truman State University). He went on to coach junior college basketball in the Los Angeles(CA) area. Among his players were future NBA players Steve Kerr and Jacques Vaughn.
